MagnaFile v3.00
The Ultimate File List Compiler
for Telegard 2.7
Copyright (C) 1990, 1991 by Blue Wave Software
All Rights Reserved.
v3.00 Standard
--------------
Recompiled with Telegard 2.7 data structures. No real changes made.
v3.00b Beta
-----------
Many thanks to Scott Malin for hacking on MagnaFile. Scott found a
couple of bugs in v3.00a and volunteered his time to work them out of
the code. Sorry, but I don't know exactly what he fixed :-)
He also made it at least 10 times faster during the USER.LST search
when a DOOR.SYS file is used. I think you'll be suprised!
v3.00a Beta
-----------
Added support for Telegard 2.5l, m, n, and o. Removed support for
Telegard 2.5i, j, and k.
WHAT'S NEW
~~~~~~~~~~
There is a new command line switch for MagnaFile: /OFFLINE. Previous
versions of MagnaFile would include OFFLINE files in the file area
statistics at the end of a compiled file listing. It no longer counts
these offline files in the statistics report.
Instead, if you add the command line switch /OFFLINE, a SEPARATE
statistics report will be generated with only information about files
that are listed as OFFLINE.
WHAT'S FIXED
~~~~~~~~~~~~
v2.00 of MagnaFile was made to run WITHOUT having The Blue Wave Mail
Door configuration files. Instead, information was found about your
BBS setup through Telegard's STATUS.DAT. MagnaFile v2.00 would ONLY
search the DOS Path for STATUS.DAT. v2.01 & v3.00 has been fixed to
look both in the CURRENT directory and the DOS Path.
WHAT'S DIFFERENT
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The command line switch /ONELINE has been modified to produce a
cleaner looking file. The output file now includes the FILEPOINTS
necessary to download the file.
